Miniature porcelain portraits were the status of the weathly in earlier centuries. Using a variety of processes, we offer this unique form of image making as an alternative to traditional portraiture. After creating an original gallery portrait or painting, the artwork is imbedded into an oval porcelain disk which is then traditionally and archivally framed using EITHER moire silk or suede matting with a choice of EITHER square or oval framing. Porcelain miniatures can be easel backed for display on counters, shelves and tables or wall mounted in groupings of precious and cherished heirlooms.
